From the Virtual Desk of the Director,
Thanks to everyone who made the 2010 Peoples Library Booksale another great success. This event is our most successful fundraiser every year and it would not be possible without the tireless work of the volunteers and the extroordinary generosity of the community. (Over 42,000 items were donated this year.) Special thanks to everyone who purchased items at our sale, whether you bought 1 pound or 100 pounds, the event would not be possible without your amazing support.
Thanks again and remember, we start collecting books for the 2011 book sale on January 3, 2011 in barrels at our New Kensington and Lower Burrell locations.
